KAPOTIVE Star Singers
KAPOTIVE Star Singers – Bukoba is a community-based public awareness and social
mobilization initiative under Kagera Poverty Alleviation Initiatives
(KAPOTIVE) that uses theatre arts—including music, dance, drama,
and participatory performances—to deliver impactful development messages to
communities.
The initiative was established to
address the reality that many social and development challenges persist not
only because of limited resources, but also due to limited awareness,
harmful social norms, misinformation, and slow behavior change. KAPOTIVE
